Salt Lake City
St. Paul’s Church is one of the oldest Episcopal parishes in the western United States. Located in the downtown area on the east side of the city near the University of Utah, St. Paul’s is a large, healthy parish with a long history of service to the community. The six properties owned by the parish as part of its housing ministry provide low-cost housing to those who might otherwise be homeless. St. Paul’s Pantry is the only Salt Lake City food pantry open on Saturdays and serves an ever-increasing number of individuals and families. Our preschool offers scholarships to parents who are unable to afford quality day care for young children. The congregation strives for excellence in music, liturgy, and spiritual formation in the Anglican/Episcopal tradition, and works toward the active participation of all its members. We are an inclusive parish, welcoming all who believe that diversity enriches and strengthens a shared life in Christ.
